Call for papers Thessaloniki - Crisis Reporting

The aim of the conference is to discuss how journalists and media should report risk and crisis. More specifically, we aim to bring forward challenges, opportunities and responses needed in a changing media ecosystem. The shift towards this new environment means that crisis journalism should be on focus. The core objective of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of undergraduate and post-graduate teaching resources and ideas.

Please note that although we encourage all conference participants to submit abstracts, which will later be published in a book of abstracts and will be available to download online, this is completely optional for EJTA members. If you are an EJTA member and wish to attend without presenting a paper, please submit only the registration form. If you are unsure whether you are linked to any institution as an institutional member, feel free to contact EJTA.

Participation in the conference is free of charge to the EJTA members.
The registration fee for non-EJTA members is 250 Euros.

Deadline for registration and abstract submission is September 7th, 2018 (23:59 Greek time)

Decisions on acceptance of abstracts will be communicated to applicants in due time.
