Durban University of Technology, Department of Journalism is currently seeking a senior lecturer.
The applicant should hold a Doctorate in Journalism or an equivalent qualification in Media with three years practical journalism experience or a Masters in Journalism or an equivalent qualification in media with five years practical journalism experience.

Additional Recommendation:
- Lecturing experience in journalism / media.
- Work experience in journalism / media industry.

Summary of Duties:
- Lecture subjects in the degree and diploma offerings as well as supervise projects.
- Facilitate Curriculum Development, Co-operative Education and Materials Development.
- Undertake administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Salary: R140 748 (min) pa - R253 644 (max) pa
